Join The Arc of Luzerne County for an interview with Nina G, the world’s only female stuttering stand-up comedian (or at least until she finds another). Nina G recently authored a guest post for Disability Blog. She is also a disability activist, storyteller, children’s book author and disability awareness educator. Nina G brings her humor to help people confront and understand social justice issues such as disability, diversity and equity. She is one quarter of the troupe, The Comedians with Disabilities Act, which tours the country educating audiences through laughter. They will appear April 11, 2014 in Buffalo, NY, at Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center-Cinema.

When Nina G isn’t performing at comedy clubs, she is playing colleges and presenting as a keynote speaker to children with disabilities and training professionals.  Her book Once Upon an Accommodation: A Book About Learning Disabilities helps children and adults understand the challenges of academic barriers and how to advocate for themselves.  For more information about Nina G please visit her website, or check out her blog and Facebook page.
