Tylee Thurber is a 15 year old Crossfit Teen who made it to the CrossFit Games in the 14-15 year old category in 2016 and finished sixth.  When she was in kindergarten, she did gymnastics for about a year.   She started running cross country in fourth grade, and she went to the USATF Junior Olympics Nationals three years in a row.  She switched to CrossFit in 8th grade. The difference between running cross country and crossfit . . .  she really loves Crossfit!  Running helped to set her up for this sport, and there was no turning back!  She’s been fortunate to have excellent coaches in each of the sports she’s competed in. The coaches at CrossFit Nashua worked hard to get her prepared for the Games.  After she found out that she made it to the Games, she got a puppy and named him Carson after the location for the event.   She is busy working to gain weight and muscle so that she can compete in the 16-17 year old category next year.
