Madonna and Marcus and making strides together!

Madonna Hanna is a retired fashion marketing educator and motivational speaker. She has received over 30 teaching awards and recognition. Highlights include: National  Milken Award recipient selected by the U. S.  Department of Education. She also received $25,000 with that award.

She and her late husband, Steve  Hanna, were recognized by late President George H. W. Bush, as a Point of Light; for the McCarver Bates Buddy program. Their classes were selected for a presidential visit which was canceled due to a defeat by Bill Clinton. She has also received recognition from First Lady  Laura Bush for creating an anti-swearing campaign and First Lady Hillary Clinton, for creating a fashion show that celebrated students with special needs.

Madonna has also written and self published an award winning self-esteem children’s picture book entitled “Mommy, why are my eyes so big?” she has also published, “ Fashionshowitis a guide to fashion show fundraising.”

Marcus Chambers is an elite American sprinter, who runs for Team USA. In 2020, he is entering his third season as a professional athlete and will compete to represent the USA at the 2020 Olympics. In high school he was a 4x state champion as well as a Jr Olympic Champion. Before going to college he competed in the World Jr Championships which was the first time he put the USA on his chest. He came back with 2 Gold Medals. A specialist in the 400m, he attended the University of Oregon, where he was a 10 time All American, 4 time PAC 12 Champion and 4 time NCAA Champion.

Giving back to his community is Marcus’ first priority beyond track. A native of Tacoma, He, regularly speaks at local schools and he dedicates his social media presence to being a positive inspiration for his followers and growing the sport of track. Marcus is proud to be Madonna’s track
