The Cooke Chronicles - The GOP Gives In!

Watching their chances of even holding on to what gains they were able to make in the last election flying out the window, the Republicans caved.  They thought they could bully the Democrats into more insane budget cuts and ridiculous rules and regulation cuts, but their ego didn't match public anger over their insolence and deception.  Although only a few sources mentioned it they had no intention of passing the payroll tax measure in the form the Senate passed.  We will discuss these realities, other interesting developments in world conditions, and what we have upcoming in the near future.  Hopefully the conservatives will keep their pattern of arrogance, Obama bashing and hatred for anything they don't like.  A Democratic lock on the House, Senate, and the Presidency will end this years-long gridlock and bring about some progress.
