The Cooke Chronicles - What Are the Conservatives Thinking?

 Patrick Cooke and Barbara DeLong will discuss how it has finally come to self-destruct mode for the Conservative House leadership with the worst form of flip-floppimg, double-dealing, and deceptive scape-goating seen in Congress in recent memory.   Republicans were able to pass a bill preventing millionaires from getting unemployment, but refused to extend unemployment for over 2 million citizens.  They can't tolerate even the mention of a tax increase anywhere, at any time, for any reason, unless it's a $1000 increase for 160 million workers just before Christmas.  And just for good measure, they made sure that seniors got a nice kick in the teeth by dropping Medicare payments to their doctors by 27%.  What's next?  This is the first in many reports on what is really going on in this country and the world from the people's perspective.
