DOES IGNORING THE LAW (TORAH) LEAD TO LAODICEA?

As a Messianic believer in Jesus (Yeshua) I've heard my fair share of the term, "We're not under the Law anymore." So how are we to term that anyway? Is the Law still applicable? Does Grace give one excuse to sin? Are there certain parts of the Law that we still have to obey, or try to obey? Seeing some of the things that supposed "believers" are doing today, could it be that dismissing the Law has brought about disobedience to God?
