Crystal Brown has a Bachelor of Science in Biology (University of Memphis) and a Master of Science in Occupational Safety and Health/Environmental Management (Columbia Southern University).  She has over 25 years of chemical industry experience as a microbiologist, chemist, and now regulatory/compliance.  She is a member the Society of Chemical Hazard Communications, the Order of Eastern Star and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.  She, along with husband, Reverend Kenneth E. Brown are members of Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church (DOC).  Crystal is also known as “SaxLady” as she plays soulful melodies at various venues throughout the United States.

Cyrstal’s soulful blend of contemporary Sax playing makes a perfect compli- ment to any event. She has played for weddings, corporate functions, Jazz concerts, musicals, parties, TV shows and many other functions. Always a crowd favorite, The SaxLady is looking to share her talents with even more music lovers. Crystal says “music is a universal way to spread love and joy, and it gives me great pleasure to bring a little joy and some happiness to those that enjoy my playing”.

The SaxLady will be spreading her wings in 2015 with the release of her very first music video, a rendition of “Happy”, which was recently shot and is currently in production.
