With health and medical trends as metaphors and inspiration, Jaya will elucidate 4 qualities that help make meditation practice fruitful.
Many people have good intentions to cultvate peace, lightness of heart, compassion and freedom, with the help of meditation or prayer, sincere relationships and work, simplicity and other practices. Are good intentions enough? Most people need support and company in getting started, and even once we get into a good momentum, there could be pitfalls that good intentions do not prevent.
Today Jaya will playfully draw from several new trends in the field of physical health, to clarify obstacles and tools on the spiritual path.
People who work with physical health often have good intentions but get pinned down by old ideas and systems that do not serve health. What can we learn, just by playing around with what creative thinkers in medicine have to say? Jaya will highlight 4 important things to factor into a spiritual life, so that our good intentions are not wasted.
