Jaya speaks on freedom in this life, as happiness, lightness, an authority based not on personal gain but on the deep aliveness accessible in each of us.
Meditation practice and living genuinely from the deep heart can help us live without regret.

In this talk she weaves poetry with Buddhist teachings to talk about losing the habitual cramp of holding on that makes our lives unsatisfactory. The poem "Trees" by Howard Nemerov accompanies us through the talk to understand another way of resonating with our place, inside and out, and with each other. This resonance allows our own insights to emerge in ways that radically alter our cramped relationship with the shiftiness of experience. Freedom to be deeply peaceful in any kind of weather, like the "moving stillness" of trees.
