Bad Pennies

This week Dennis Crenshaw and Steve St. Clair drop by to welcome us back on the air. Hence the title... Topics of discussion, among others, include some 4,000 year old DNA found in Greenland that doesn't fit, a Welsh coast shipwreck from 3,000 years ago that may yeild important data, and an intriguing map of symbols that appear all over the world (except Siberia). The Oopa Loopa Cafe has been on hiatus since the beginning of the current year because of time constraints, mostly, working with other shows' production efforts. Oz has been producing two TV shows in addition to the weekly Unraveling the Secrets here on blogtalkradio. And the 22nd of February 2010 marks the 3 year anniversary of this show. We are finally out of the "terrible two's". The good part is, we're back and we're bringing new toys! The Oopa Loopa Cafe is going to also become a TV show! Well, maybe...if I can get your help. The Oopa Loopa Cafe is going to need two people to help: 1) need a dedicated co-host, and 2) need a dedicated scheduler / researcher. Neither job is currently a paid position. Either job can be both frustrating and rewarding, obscure and "secretly famous", enlightening and thought provoking. But at least you have the opportunity to work with interesting people. During the hiatus, I've recruited a couple new connections who will be "foreign correspondents": Dean De Lucia is researching in Brazil and will offer his contributions regularly from Sao Paulo, while Gary Anderson will bring us any germane news he can find from his home base in Perth, Western Australia. Each of them is connected to similar networks of researchers as is the Oopa Loopa Cafe, so there is a lot to discuss. Please join us for our joyous return!
