Peggy Dobreer is a poet, parent, public speaker and long time educator. She came to poetry by way of dance and experimental theatre. Peggy is co-author of 64 Ways to Practice Nonviolence, A Curriculum and Resource Guide and she has published five chapbooks, most recently Face of Sky and Little Captures.  Peggy’s poems have been anthologized in Cracked Pavement and Plastic Trees: Our Gifts to Future Generations, Everything About You Is Beautiful, and Literary Angles. She has been published in journals including: San Pedro River Review, Malpais Review, WordWrights Magazine, L.A. Yoga Magazine, and currently online at www.foggedclarity.com.  She was interviewed by Lois P. Jones on KPFK radio.  In 2005, she founded the now-legendary Horse of Another Color series.
