Every few decades, there has been a call for an Article V Convention, for the purpose of proposing amendments to the United States Constitution.    Once again, the call is being trumpeted.   The Article V Convention is now being phrased as The Convention of States Project.  This Convention of states is a convention called by the state legislatures for the purpose of proposing amendments to the Constitution.  Proponents want to call a convention for the purpose of limiting the power and jurisdiction of the federal government.  We certainly know that the federal government is recklessly overreaching its powers … and that it is being allowed to happen.

Last show, we heard from featured guest callers in favor of COS.  Our featured guest callers … 4/16 … will be explaining why the COSP is NOT a good idea. (If you didn’t hear the show FOR COS … you will most definitely want to give a listen before attending this one.)

If the Federal Government Ignores the Current Constitution, now, why would they adhere to an amended Constitution?  Is a convention of the states safe from turning into a “runaway convention”?  Where is the funding coming from, and who is the parent organization for the COS project?

Wynne Coleman (heading up No Convention of States NC) is joining Debbie Barth and her illustrious panel, to answer these questions and to give her point of view for opposing the Convention of States.
