I had polio as a child at the age of 6 and a half. I’m a single mother of a special needs son.  Retired from UM-Flint after 21 years of service.Wrote and self published my first book, my autobio called Hardcore Survivor..a life of heartache and pain…lulu.com, this year. Have done a lot of volunteering since retirement. On Fridays I volunteer at Christ Enrichment Center at a food giveaway. On Tuesdays I normally broadcast The Flaminpit Show, an online radio show through Flint Talk Radio. I’m on Facebook under Lesa Quade and there is also a Flaminpit Show page. I’m on the staff of CW Courageous Woman magazine as a contributing writer and ad sales person.  Finishing my Bachelor degree in Business Management. I’m an advocate for people with special needs…I’ve helped with acquiring services that people don’t know about.
