Having and raising a baby during incarceration

It is an extremely hard choice to decide to have a baby while your husband is still in prison. Many do it because when he comes home you both will be too old to have children. We want to be a normal married couple and just have kids but now I will be alone throughout the pregnancy and in the delivery room. I will also have to figure out how to afford everything I already take care of and everything I'll need for a baby. I have to take the baby to the prison for visits and that can be crazy, from a long drive to long waits in line, to keeping the baby happy in that visiting room. There is so much that goes through your mind. I am an expert in this area as my husband and I had a baby a little over 2 years ago and though we were very happy there were several things that caused us to feel depressed. I will share the good, the bad and the ugly that comes along with having and raising babies while you husband is in.
