Join Audri Scott Williams on Peace Talks on NOWTIME Radio as she interviews Devadas Chelvam, author of Limitless Love, Truly We Are That, a Guidebook for Seekers on a Spiritual Path. Devadas Chelvam, once a devout Catholic priest, did, what years earlier, was quite unthinkable for him. He quit the priesthood, became an agnostic and completely gave up any belief in God. According to Chelvam, a Sri Lanka native, many of the church’s doctrines had become so questionable that he had completely lost his faith. “You cannot have absolute truth unless you become one with God and totally enlightened like the saint Amma, or like the great sages that I write about in my book. Chelvam’s book explains that freedom from fear, anger, anxiety and other negative emotions is found only through abandoning our usual false, superficial identifications, and silently relaxing into the truth of our own being.  We thereby discover that we are truly unlimited awareness, peace, joy and love. The beauty and glory of Christ, Krishna, Buddha and other great sages shine brightly in these pages. Their lives and words confirm that we are indeed Limitless Love.  Chelvam sent a copy of his book ‘Living with Saints and Sages’ to Cherylss Canfield, the author of ‘Profound Healing’. She responded: “Thank you for the gift of your book which I read in full and will continue to turn for inspiration. It is a lovely gift to the world, full of those Truths which will bring us to find that place of peace and knowing within.” After experiencing a crisis in faith, Chelvam now accepts that all the people are on a homeward journey to enlightenment, though it may take several lives.
