Boogie Cousins left the Pelicans for a one-year, $5.3 million contract with the Golden States Warriors dynasty. Apparently, the Pels made him a two-year/$40 million offer after the season and were willing to negotiate from there. He never gave them that chance.
The Pels did, however, sign point guard Elfrid Payton and forward Julius Randle. Are those good moves?
What else do the Pels need to do in free agency?
And are there any trades they can make that improve this roster? Is this current roster capable of maintaining its place in the west?
