Courthouse Burnings and Agenda 21

After the civil war, courthouses were burned throughout the South. I used to think that was something the Union Army did as punishment, but it was more than that, or why are old court records still being burned? Old court records in Franklin County, NC were deliberately burned after they were discovered a couple of years ago. There were boxes of historic records that the Historic Society was interested in, but instead, police in Franklin County burned them.
