Wed. 9pmPST at NNIA1 (weekly) Assistance to the Incarcerated Mentally Ill ("AIMI"). Please call (818)572-2947 to speak on air. In America, roughly 1.25 million mentally ill people are incarcerated. They comprise 60 percent of the inmates experiencing solitary confinement torture and over 50 percent of the nation's police violence victims. Mentally ill people are sometimes executed, which violates U.S. and international law. We discuss these problems generally and present specific cases of government negligence and abuse. We also present successful alternatives to imprisoning mentally challenged people and give reports about positive changes happening. Email MaryLovesJustice@gmail.com and email AIMI@HumanRightsDemand.com.

Telephone Mary Neal, the director, at (678)531.0262 or (571)335-1741. If you receive no response within 48 hours, please email and call again. Thanks for listening, commenting on air, and sharing the url to these radio broadcasts. Discussing issues facing Americans with mental health disabilities, their families, and communities helps to advocate for solutions. Thank you.
