In New Jersey, changes in educational law or regulation go through an approval process that often includes the very public entities of the Legislature, governor and the state Department of Education. But many people don’t realize that regulatory changes, which can include regulations on state standardized testing, graduation requirements, teacher evaluations, state standards, and other policy matters, involve the State Board of Education, which must approve changes in the code.  Join “Conversations on New Jersey Education” when Mark Biedron, the president of the State Board of Education joins host Ray to discuss timely educational issues, as well as the process the State Board follows when making decisions.
