Jennifer Llewellyn is the Viscount Bennett Professor of Law at the Schulich School of Law. Her teaching and research is focused in the areas of relational theory, restorative justice, truth commissions, international and domestic human rights law and Canadian constitutional law.
Tony Ince was born in Halifax, NS, Tony attended Alexander McKay Elementary School, St. Patrick’s High and Halifax West High Schools. He has a strong commitment to concerns affecting his constituents. Tony’s passion for social justice and equality comes from his multifaceted life experiences and countless interactions with people from many walks of life.
Tony Smith has spent most of his adult life helping and speaking up for people who are marginalized, including those in the child welfare system or the justice system, and those who struggle with mental illness and addictions. As a former resident of the Nova Scotia Home for Colored Children (NSHCC), he is best known for his work advocating for those who suffered abuse and neglect as children and youth at the institution over many decades.
