Acclaimed Singer / Actor / Producer / Director and Artist Christopher Carothers talks about the legacy of his father A.J. Carothers and "Busker Alley" the upcoming musical his father created with legendary writing team the Sherman Bros.

A.J.  wrote more than 100 motion pictures, television shows and plays. Carothers also wrote speeches for Nancy Reagan, John Ritter, Patrick Stewart, John Lithgow and many others.

Carothers garnered many honors in his career including the distinguished Artists Award, Blue Ribbon awards and the Kinkaid School Distinguished Alumnus award. The Los Angeles Times named him "Father of the Year" in 1967.
