Combine the history of the colonial town with the longevity of the local innkeeper and you know the story of Carl Glassman, co-owner of the 1870 Wedgwood Inn with his wife Dinie Silnutzer. The pair just marked their 35th anniversary as innkeepers but have no intentions of retiring. Alumni of the urban rat race, Carl and Dinie not only run several inns but also host courses that, in effect, teach potential competitors how to do the same. Located in historic New Hope, a Pennsylvania town on the Delaware River, their Wedgwood Collection includes three buildings and 18 rooms. And the town features 250 historic structures, horse-drawn carriages, boat rides, ghost tours, and a steam locomotive through the bucolic Bucks County countryside. Hear Carl's take on his innkeeper journey Thursday, May 25, at 8p EDT as iTunes and BlogTalkRadio.com present TRAVEL ITCH RADIO, hosted by Dan Schlossberg and Priscilla Willis.
