Mathieu is the former executive director of the Sugar Bowl and also ex-director of athletics at Grambling. He is currently assistant superintendent in charge of athletics at Grand Prairie (TX) independent school district and formerly head of athletics at Dallas public schools and Washington, DC public schools.
