Butterfly Rising: Overcoming Sadness of Loss

Tanya Wright is an actor, writer and producer.

She currently recurs in the role of Kenya on the HBO series True Blood produced by Academy-Award winning writer, Alan Ballt.

Tanya is also a writer and director of her first movie Butterfly Rising. She was inspired to write her book after her brother’s death and then further inspired to turn it into a movie.
