South Dakota Update- Deadline extended- Adopt A Box- American Indian Inauguration news!

Deadline extended!Donations accepted until Feb 6th...on the road(w/your help!) by Valentine's Day! Please note that due to the extreme weather conditions we were set way back on our original deadline of today...so we have decided to aim for Feb 6th, with hopes that we can raise enough money through word of mouth, Adopt a Box & other sources to get everything heading back to South Dakota by Valentine's Day. Last show we had Doug George of the Mohawk Nation call in on behalf of his wife Grammy/Nammy award winner Joanne Shenandoah, who will be appearing at the Jan 20th American Indian Inaugural Ball, with Michael Bucher said that the new music from Bitter Tears-Sacred Ground (re-recording of 6 songs of Johnny Cash Album from 1964) will help send strong political human rights/native rights messages to Washington DC, including decisions made regarding Leonard Peltier: “ The Bitter Tears album was blacklisted by virtually all radio stations in the United States, because of its advocacy for Aboriginal rights, in a time when most people did not want to hear about it….Joanne and Michael picked up the challenge and re-recorded some of the songs and are issuing it at the Inauguration….which is an interesting way to tie in….greater recognition for our Native heritage, Native rights, in the case of Leonard Peltier.” We'll share a couple of the tracks Michael Bucher sent to us!
