Jermaine Smith, author and playwright living in Brooklyn, NY, has received 5 Tiffany Award nominations, and was awarded in 2008. He received the Holla Back Video Gospel Music Award for best stage play in 2009 and 2010. His original inspirational stage play “A Piece of Me” performed 50 shows in over a 4 year period. In 2009, Jermaine’s story was featured in a documentary produced by the Christian Broadcasting Networks program “The 700 Club”. This award winning stage play gave birth to what would now be a novel.
