Nancy Sanchez is a natural musician, songwriter and artist. Born in Toluca Mexico, then making her home in the United States as a young girl, her music is a reflection of the two cultures. Nancy’s first big effort was to take her jazz vocal training and hang with the local jazz cats and play the jazz clubs to hone her craft. This resulted in her first release, an independently released, self-titled Jazz EP.  Nancy wrote two original jazz songs to go along with five classics on the EP. Sanchez won three Orange County Music Awards taking home honors for Best Latin and Best Jazz Vocal.

Looking for a new challenge, Nancy decided to explore her singer songwriter skills in her next project, Ruby in L.A. Nancy’s growth as a songwriter and musician took an important step forward when she began working with 3-time Grammy Award winning producer Dave Way and Mastering Legend Vic Anesini. Sanchez is currently recording her next record “American Novio” with the legendary Eugene Toale (Las Cafeteras, Viento Callejero, Mariachi Manchester, Buyepongo etc..) This will be Sanchez's first all Spanish language record that tells her story of growing up in America immersed in Mexican culture.
