The use of connected technologies in today's workplace environments is changing skillsets required by the workers of today - and tomorrow - around the nation and around the world, and Michigan is no exception. As more and more industries in our state are engaging the use of the Internet of Things or connected technologies such as those required for autonomous vehicles, the training required to perform jobs in every industry needs to adapt just as quickly as the technologies themselves do. In order to help Michigan get ahead of the curve on this issue, the Workforce Intelligence Network is moderating a meeting of the MAGMA Advisory Council (Michigan Alliance for Greater Mobility Advancement) on September 16th. an expert panel at this event will discuss topics suchs as CAV/IoT hiring, training and talent challenges, as well as regional overviews of CAV deployment activities.

Join host Melissa Birnie and her guest, David Palmer, Director of Business Partnerships for the Workforce Intelligence Network (WIN), as they discuss the changing skillsets and training needs, as well as the upcoming MAGMA event, during their conversation on Thursday, September 8th at 9:00 a.m.
