Windsor-Detroit Hacking Health is an event designed to improve healthcare by inviting technology creators and healthcare professionals to collaborate on realistic, human-centric solutions to front-line problems in a fun, intense, hands-on event where small teams tackle tough problems in a supportive community of peers and mentors. It is the first cross-border Hacking Health event in the world, and seeks to bring together healthcare & tech professionals across the US-Canada border to collaborate, dream up & design apps for patient-centric care. The event takes place at TechTown Detroit, May 1 - 3, 2015.
Join host Melissa Birnie and guests, Dr. Phillip Olla, Founder/CEO of Mobile Diagnostic Services and Paul Riser, Director, Technology-based Entrepreneurship at TechTown Detroit, organizers of the event, for an enlightening conversation about Windsor-Detroit Hacking Health and how this high-energy creative event brings health professionals and technologists together to problem-solve new ways of delivering healthcare.
