I lost my job last year and my husband has been out of work for almost 2 years. Since my husband has been off from work he has become very verbally abusive, he hit me once. When I tell him I want to leave he tells me that I am a horrible person to leave him when times are bad he makes me feel so guilty. I am afraid he may hit me again. Am I wrong to leave him or should I just hold on until things get better?
