Fred Wiebel, Jr. drops by to help celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the first film appearance of Mary Shelley’s iconic monster. Wiebel is the author of "Edison’s Frankenstein," a well-researched and entertaining book about the making of the movie, its disappearance and rediscovery. Wiebel helped find, restore and facilitate the production of the first DVD release of the Frankenstein film. He has screened and lectured about this historic movie at various institutions, universities and film conventions. Wiebel also cooperated with others to produce a graphic novel, "Edison’s Frankenstein 1910," published by Comic International Library in 2003. He has received many honors and accolades -- including a letter of recommendation from the Library of Congress -- for his efforts in connection with "Edison’s Frankenstein." As a leading authority on the Frankenstein film, Wiebel has been consulted by authors, scholars, students and institutions from around the world. Film horror expert A.J.Hakari will also join in the discussion of this classic film.
