Fresh sweet berries are nature’s candy, or so we like to think. But there’s nothing natural about the inhumane treatment experienced by the farmworkers responsible for bringing those berries to your table.

Join us for a conversation with farmworker and union activist Alfredo “Lelo” Juárez, and community organizer with Community to Community Development and Move to Amend board member Edgar Franks on the fight to expand democracy and procure human rights for migrant farmworkers, as we bring into focus the first farmworkers' union, Familias Unidas por la Justicia, and the ongoing boycott of berry products from corporate agribusiness, Sakuma Brothers Farms and Driscoll's.

Learn more about the boycott, visit boycottsakumaberries.com.
