Merrily Mazza is on the board of the newly formed Colorado Community Rights Network, the group sponsoring the proposed CO constitutional amendment, and is also on the Lafayette, CO city council. She was on the board of East Boulder County United, the group that got a coummunity rights charter amendment to ban hydraulic fracturing on the ballot in Lafayette, which passed with 60% of the vote. The city was subsequently sued by the Colorado Oil & Gas Association, the industry's lobbying group in CO. She is formerly a vice-president at McGraw-Hill.
