Keith Blaser, The Acting Trail Blazer

Motown Maurice's Huslte & Shuffle welcomes Keith Blaser. Keith attended Western Kentucky University on a full ride Speech and Debate scholarship. He graduated with a bachelor of arts in Communications and a minor in Theatre. He competed for the national and international award winning William E. Bivin Forensics Society or Speech and Debate. During his 4 years of service, Keith won countless National awards in Prose, Poetry, Programmed Oral Interpretation, Duo Interpretation, Informative Speaking, Persuasive Speaking, and the International World Title in After Dinner Speaking in 2004 in Prague. After graduating from WKU, Keith attended the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Williamstown, MA. Keith appeared along side Michelle Williams, Michael C. Hall, Marisa Tomei, Chris Messina, Linda Edmond, Jessica Chastain, and Lee Wilkof in Michael Greif’s production of, The Cherry Orchard. Keith also directed and stared in Sam Shepard’s, True West.

After WTF, Keith moved to N.Y.C and attended school at The HB Studio in Greenwich Village. N.Y. proved to be a successful resume builder for Keith, performing in multiple off-off Broadway shows, short films, and feature films. One feature film, shot in Berlin, Headhunter: The Assessment Weekend, Keith landed the lead role. It proved to be the launching pad or paycheck that he needed to transition into Los Angeles. 

Keith now resides in Studio City. He is represented by Sharon E. Morris of Actors LA.  Keith recently became the new Co-Producer of the LA production of The Manhattan Monologue Slam. MMSlam is the only live totally interactive theatre show where actors get 2 minutes to shine on stage with their best monologue and the audience picks the winner with the exclusive mmslam.com voting application.
