Unique Online Comedy Channel The Northside

Motown Maurice's Hustle & Shuffle welcomes The Northside, a online sketch comedy channel created by Lamar Woods and Weldon Powers.  Their unique style of comedy is unlike anything online or TV right now.  It combines a variety of influences from Hip Hop culture to intelligent humor, as well as the awkward situations and just plain goofiness of everyday life.  

Growing up together in Atlanta, GA, these two young filmmakers are benefitting from the freedom of creating funny content online.  Recently, their videos have been nominated for an Audience Award at the Los Angeles Comedy Festival 2011, as well as garnering over 1 million views online for their most popular video, "Gay Hunt."  Named after their hometown, Lamar and Weldon created The Northside as a place to go to get your laugh on online.
