Alvin Lewis has written several books. His first publication, “TAKE MY HAND” (The Thomas Dorsey Story) will be available summer 2009. Lewis’ second publication is SUDDENLY, his own true-life saga of a near fatal encounter with the dreaded “Flesh Eating Bacteria”. (Slated release fall 2013) He has traveled throughout the United States and other countries in a plethora.Lewis is an 30 yr ordained minister and currently interim Messianic Rabbi (studying for M.R.A. Masters in Rabbinic Studies) Lewis has passionate for teaching the wealth of Hebraic-Jewish roots to the mainstream Christian community, as teacher, mentor and inspirational leader.For several years, Lewis served various churches and congregations as minister of music. The aritist he has worked with ministers/include Shirley CaesarJohn P.Kee & New Life, Michael Bolton, Oletta Adams, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Rance Allen, The Mighty Clouds of Joy, Dallon Collins (original lead singer Kirk Franklin & Family) etc. As a former stand-up comic; Lewis has incorporated his uniquely humorous yet informative method of public speaking ability in various venues. Lewis attributes his greatest success to his mufti-faceted family of Village-Like rearing of the "Community Family". Lewis is founder and president of " NO MORE DRAMA Youth Outreach Ministries" currently the acting host of a powerful youth outreach mission entitled "No More Drama" which targets various high-risk inner city youth. Lewis attests that his mandate in ministry and in life is to win at least one million new converts for Christ (Messiah) before he returns.
