Natural Law

Everything in the universe, including plants, animals, rocks, and even particles of matter, is bound by laws it must obey. Natural Law is a body of laws that derive from nature or Spirit or God. It is the intelligent and infinite organizing power that silently maintains and guides the evolution of all things, and is binding upon all matter, including us. The activity of every atom at every level of creation is governed by natural law with perfect efficiency, so that everything in the universe must function with perfect precision.

The Bible itself tells us that there are laws of nature or “ordinances of heaven and earth” in Jeremiah 33:25. These laws describe the way Spirit expresses and reveals itself to us. Logic, order and rhythm are built into the foundation of All That Is; leaving nothing under the sun with the ability to express itself as haphazard or arbitrary. The physical universe obeys many laws including: chemistry, physics, motion and mathematics. If the physical world obeys laws, why would the spiritual universe do less?

The list of spiritual laws is quite comprehensive and would include:

• Law of Karma
• Law of Attraction
• Law of Cause and Effect
• Law of Compensation
• Law of Continuity
• Law of Transmutation
