The Truth About Modern Day Slavery: Interview with UC Berkeley Professor, Darren C. Zook

For the first interview in this series, we will be talking with the highly-acclaimed UC Berkeley Professor about the various aspects of Human Trafficking. We will look at its causes and different forms, as well as its impact on victims. Moreover, we will be discussing his personal research on the topic, with a focus on South Asia. Professor Zook specializes in human rights, comparative Asian politics, international law, and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction. He teaches Political Science and International and Area Studies, and is currently at work on a book-length manuscript on the legal and political dimensions of decolonization and its legacy for global politics.
