Tune in to hear a couple of dads – Intel’s Peter Biddle and blogger Jeff Sass – share some insight (and maybe a few embarrassing stories) on how their kids are experiencing today’s omnipresent technology.

Love it or hate it, kids are growing up in an increasingly digitalized world, with technology ruling everything from the classroom to the playground. While it was once a peculiar sight to see a middle schooler on a cell phone, today you wouldn’t flinch to see your toddler playing with a tablet.

According to a study cited in IB Times, more kids can play a computer game than ride a bike. However, the benefits of technology for our kids are hard to deny, since it provides learning tools and, if properly used, avenues for kids to connect and express themselves.

With so many hours devoted to worshipping LCD screens, this presents new rules of how children engage with their peers and families.

A gadget geek and early adopter at heart, Jeff Sass is an experienced technology and entertainment exec. He has co-founded and run mobile commerce and technology companies and he has written and produced for film and television. Currently the VP of Business Development for mobile entertainment company Myxer, Jeff also writes for several blogs including Sassholes, Social Networking Rehab, and Dad-O-Matic.
