Pamela Tuck is a children's book author who gets her love of storytelling from her grandfather, whose eye-popping, jaw-dropping stories enchanted her as a child. She began writing poetry in elementary school. Inspired by teachers, family, and friends, she branched out into short stories and plays and received the 2007 New Voices Award from Lee & Low Books for her picture book story entitled As Fast As Words Could Fly.
Pamela is a former homeschooling mother of 11 children and lives in Boyertown, PA with her husband, and writing partner, Joel Tuck. Pamela and Joel Tuck offer enlightening and inspiring books for a diversity of people. "Our books often reflect life experiences, thus being written from the heart. Each reader is invited to take a journey into the lives of our characters, and witness the struggles they face within their own communities. But more importantly, we hope each reader is encouraged to embrace diversity and have the courage to make a difference."
