In Memory of De Anna Lynn Johnson

Join me tonight as the Founders of the MissingNMurdered, advocates JennyNJerry Boone talk with Mary Eugene about the unsolved murder of her friend, De Anna Lynn Johnson. 

 

De Anna disappeared on November 15, 1982 when she was just 14 years old. She was going to a neighbourhood party with her older brother just 7 houses from where she lived, but she never made it home. De Anna's body was found the next day, on November 16, 1982. 

 

The now Mayor of Vacaville, Steve Hardy proclaimed De Anna's birthday, May 24th, as "DE ANNA LYNN JOHNSON MEMORIAL DAY", and is being celebrated as we speak: http://dixon.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/murdered-vacaville-teen-de-anna-johnson-remembered-wiab7c125aa0. 

 

On May 20th, 2013 a billboard has been erected stating there is a $50,000 reward for answers in the murder of young De Anna: http://www.thereporter.com/news/ci_23314485/billboard-touts-reward-vacaville-case. 

 

At the time this happened to De Anna, I (Jessie's mom, Glendene) was pregnant with my oldest child, missing Jessie Foster's older sister Crystal. She was born 6 weeks after this tragedy. As long as I have been a mother, these folks have suffered without justice for De Anna.
