Please join me this coming Sunday, October 18, 2015, at 4 pm PST, as I welcome to the show Natasha Tracy, an award-winning mental health writer and speaker as well as a consultant who lives with bipolar disorder. Natasha was the proud recipient of the Erasing the Stigma Leadership Award from Didi Hirsch in 2014 for her work in the mental health field. She has been named one of the most influential voices online in the field of mental health by Sharecare. Natasha’s blog, Bipolar Burble, is the most well-read bipolar blog online. She believes that knowledge dispels fear and that with accurate, trustworthy knowledge, we can erase the prejudice and discrimination that people with mental illness face every day.

Natasha and I will be discussing fighting bipolar in everyday life and workable coping strategies. It is well understood by Natasha, and others with bipolar disorder, that while treatment for bipolar works, it doesn’t always offer total relief. Because of this, daily coping skills are key. We will be discussing how to handle the tough situations that come up in everyday life and how to incorporate positive habits into your life to make handling bipolar just a little bit easier.

Please feel free to call in at (917) 889-7025!
