Interview with Media Professional & News Personality Michele Wright

Michele Wright is an award-winning news anchor, reporter and multimedia journalist. She has been in broadcasting for over 18 years. Currently she is a media professional and news personality who recently worked as news anchor at WPEC – Channel 12 and WTVX CW34 in Palm Beach for the past 6 ½ years.

Before WPEC, she worked in Orlando at Orange & Vision Television as the main anchor of several shows. Prior to that, she worked for WTLV-12 as a freelance reporter. She began her television career in promotions at Fox 35 and officially on air as the morning traffic anchor and feature reporter at WJXT-TV Channel 4 in Jacksonville.

A native of Florida, Michele graduated from Florida State University with a double major in Political Science and Communications and a minor in French. In Tallahassee, she was a public service advisor for the Honorable Senator Connie Mack. She is a former NFL Cheerleader (Jacksonville Jaguars ROAR) and supports the NFL Alumnae Cheerleaders at and Professional Cheerleaders Association. Michele's father is a retired minister and her mother is a retired nurse of over 30 years who inspired her to always give back to the community with charities, organizations and worthwhile causes. She believes God blesses us to bless others. Stunningly beautiful on the inside and out, Michele was named one of Palm Beaches "Top Prominent Women" in Palm Beach Woman Magazine. 

Michele's faith in Jesus is her foundation. Her mission as a Christian is to spread kindness through faith, hope and love. 

Michele feels blessed to live, work and play in beautiful South Florida and do what she loves to do everyday. She been currently working on a BIG project over the last few months to launch soon in Palm Beach. So stay tuned! Her goal is to have her own national television show.
