The Brown Bag w/ Chauncey Strong

Chauncey Strong, originally from Newark NJ, earned his BA degree in Social Work from Elizabeth City State University, in Elizabeth City, North Carolina, in 1991 and his MSW from Norfolk State University, in Norfolk, Virginia in 1993.

He is currently a foster care supervisor with Fairfax County Department of Family Services in Fairfax, Virginia and has worked for 20 years in child welfare. He is currently the Board Chair of Foster Care Alumni of America, a trainer, motivational speaker, and a committed advocate for children and families. Chauncey has dedicated his career to helping improve the outcomes of children and families in need who are involved in the child welfare system.
