Chef Melvin “Boots” Johnson is having a viewing party at Queens Bully, a restaurant in Forest Hills, NY. The chef will be on the Tuesday, August 14 episode of Chopped on the Food Network competing as one of four Grill Masters. Johnson loves Bacon and prepares his own at the restaurant. In fact, there will be an upcoming event in Flushing NY at the USTA on September 29 – a Bacon Beer Classic. Johnson talks about what lead him into his style of cooking, love of food and some of the chefs he worked with.
