Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of chocolate cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. And why shouldn't you, what else are you doing these days anyway? If you're just trying to fill up your days stuck at home without losing your mind, then Dr. Saturday Morning Cereal prescribes some comedy to take you away. Because during times like these...you just gotta laugh. Or eventually snap.

To this end, we proudly bring you our guest today, stand up comedian Billy DeVore (of the podcast The New Nasty Boys from Armchair Media)! A native Cincinnati phenom, Billy has been hitting stages and tickling bones (funny or otherwise) damn near every single day since 2011, so you can trust him when he talks comedy and the Reds and Skyline Chili with us ("What's a Sky-Rosa", you say? You might be sorry you asked...). Also, Grim, Marke, and Jimmy have some ideas of what funny stuff you should be streaming at home right now to keep the viral anxiety at bay (seriously, if you haven't bailed onThe Walking Dead in favor of The Office by now, then it's time to wonder which one is really still considered escapism, you sadist). But if you have an urge to feel that communal connection with a great live comedy show during these sequestered times, we've also got some recommendations for you of classic stand up albums guaranteed to transport you right back into those crowded smoke-filled comedy clubs of yesteryear (i.e, before March of this year). Because, like we said, you just gotta laugh. Now. Do it. You'll thank us. But if you absolutely have to wait, then just pick up Billy's debut comedy album DRINKING AT THE KIDS TABLE on May 15th!
