Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” MATTHEW 4:1-2
 
When the first Adam was created he was subjected to the temptation of the devil, and he fell and involved the whole human race into ruin.

Therefore; it was not improper that the second Adam - the Redeemer of the race - Yahushua - JESUS CHRIST -should be subjected to temptation, in order that it might be seen that there was no power that could alienate him from God! 

Yahushua / Jesus the Christ proved that he possessed or was possessed with a kind and a degree of holiness and understanding which no art or power could estrange him from his allegiance to his father!

The secret to overcoming all problems...........the secret to turning all tests into testimonies is found in Matthew chapter four!
