The Lions lost yet another game without so much as scoring a goal — that’s five shutouts in a row now — and it turns out that a low-scoring team is not helped by missing both its strikers and most significant attacking midfielder. We’ve got your Orlando CIty-New England Revolution breakdown, such as it is, and our Man of the Match picks.

We also discussed the news about Sydney Leroux’s summer illness that she announced on social media on Monday and both of us have been through similar experiences so we know how difficult things have been for her and husband Dom Dwyer in recent weeks. All of our support and good vibes go out to them.

The USMNT and USWNT have been in action since we last spoke to you and we’ve got thoughts on how those matches have gone, as well as the news that the MLS Combine is returning to Orlando. We answered our mailbag questions of the week and gave our key match-ups and score predictions for the Lions’ upcoming matches against Seattle and Columbus as well.

If there’s something you want us to address on our next show, just ask by tweeting it to us @TheManeLand with the hashtag #AskTMLPC.

Here’s how show No. 146 went down:

0:13 - The Lions didn’t score again and we’re not that surprised as it turns out.

11:28 - Awful details from Sydney Leroux about her summer illness.

22:09 - The USMNT fought hard in a losing effort vs. Colombia but the USWNT has been smoking everyone and has reached next year’s World Cup in France.

32:00 - Our mailbag wants to know about Chris Mueller and transfer rumors.

37:23 - Key match-ups and score predictions for matches against the Seattle Sounders and Columbus Crew. Please don’t hurt us, Justin.
