The Lions finally got into the win column in 2018 this weekend, beating the New York Red Bulls in a back-and-forth thriller, 4-3. It was a fine season debut for Dom Dwyer, who went 64 minutes, scored a brace, and drove his friend Aurelien Collin nuts all day. We’ve got our breakdown of an eventful match that saw the return of Carlos Rivas and Tommy Redding to Orlando City Stadium — albeit in the enemy’s uniform.

The Orlando Pride were 10 minutes from a road draw while down seven starters — five to international duty and two to injury. But then Mallory Pugh happened and you can never predict when Mallory Pugh will happen. It was disappointing and now the pressure is on Tom Sermanni’s club. We discuss.

OCSC Assistant Coach Miles Joseph joins us to talk about working with Jason Kreis, how the staff divvies up responsibilities, scouting the next opponent, and much more.

The final segment includes our answers to listener questions in our Ask The Mane Land PawedCast mailbag. If there’s something you want us to address on our next show, just tweet it to us @TheManeLand with the hashtag #AskTMLPC. We also give you our key match-ups and score predictions for Orlando City’s date with the Portland Timbers on Sunday afternoon.

Here’s how No. 119 played out:

0:12- Hey, an Orlando City win to talk about! Sadly, there’s also an Orlando Pride loss to kick around.

36:48- Miles Joseph jumps on the horn with us and we go inside the workings of the Orlando City coaching staff with the veteran assistant.

55:58- The #AskTMLPC mailbag and our laughable predictions for the Lions vs. Timbers.
