A Season of Reflection and Preparation

In Matthew 4:1-11 says that the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.  But that temptation came after he was fasting and praying for 40 days and 40 nights.  We all know that after fasting for such a long time, not only was Jesus hungry, because he was human, but he was thirsty too.  How many of us would be able to fast for 40 day and 40 nights? Well the Son of God did, and that's when Satan came to Him when He was weak.  

We all know the story, how many of us are able to withstand the snares of the devil when we're weak?  Would we be able to quote scripture in times when trouble is coming upon us?  Jesus was able to use the word, which he knew to withstand Satan's tricks. Many  Christians are celebrating Lent right now, which means Reflection and Preparation for Easter.  Sometimes we need to take time to reflect and Prepare for the next things in our lives.  Or, we can say the New Beginnings in our life.  Easter is around the corner, are you ready for His Resurrection?
